Each year, we award a Women Divers Hall of Fame/Kids Sea Camp training scholarship to up-and-coming divers. This year, we would like to congratulate Kaiden Buscemi!
“Today was my fifth dive since my PADI Scuba certification, and I loved it! I am so happy to have won the grant, and I can’t think of a better way to discover and explore the ocean than diving. Underwater is so magical, and I am super excited to share this experience with my friends and family, who are certified as well. I appreciate your time and efforts to help make this dream come true, and I want to thank you with all my heart for giving me this great opportunity to cherish and enjoy for a lifetime.” Kaiden Buscemi.
The scholarship and training grant award presentations are in conjunction with the 2015 Women Divers Hall of Fame Member Induction Ceremonies.
These occur during the “Beneath the Sea” Dive Expo in New Jersey (http://www.beneaththesea.org/).
Our 2014-2015 WDHOF grant recipient will receive a complimentary weekend pass to the expo and a complimentary ticket for the WDHOF brunch, at which her award will be presented.
